Get a head start to the summer rowing season! This clinic will introduce participants to the rowing stroke, erg/tank rowing and will teach the basics of rowing in an indoor setting.
Ages: 12 – 17 years (birthyear 2011 or earlier)
Dates: April 12/17/19/24/26/ May 1 (Mo-Wed)
Time: 6:15 pm – 7:45 pm
COST: $225+HST
Maximum: 16 Participants
2023 Summer Youth Day Camp

Looking for a good time on the water for your child? The Don Rowing day camp is an introduction to rowing for youths ages 12 – 17 years. Campers will be taught the fundamentals of rowing such as stroke sequence and basic blade work in a fun environment among peers. In addition, they will learn basic boat handling as well as how to steer, turn and back the boat. Participants will learn to follow safe traffic patterns on the Credit River. All sessions are run by our certified coaches.
Week 1: July 4 – 7 (4 days, no camp on July 3rd (Canada Day), Fee prorated to $300+HST)
Week 2: July 10 -14
Week 3: July 17 -21
Week 4: July 24 – 28
Week 5: July 31 – Aug 4
No camp week of Aug 6th
Week 6: Aug 14 – 18
Week 7: Aug 21 – 25
Camp runs Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm at DRC Boathouse in Port Credit
Ages: 12 – 17 years (birthyear 2011 or earlier)
Cost: $375+HST per week (Week July 4 -7: Cost $300, 4 days only)
Must be able to swim 50+ meters
Maximum 24 Participants/week
Bring: Life vest, hat, sunscreen, refillable water bottle, lunch and snacks. A detailed list of what to expect and bring will be sent to families a week prior to camp.

Program Re-scheduling, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Re-Scheduling (switch program dates)
Up to 14 days before start of session: NO charge
13 days to 7 days before session start: $20 Move fee
7 days to 24 hrs before session start: $50 Move fee
Regrettably, we cannot accommodate rescheduling requests less than 24 hrs before camp start or any time thereafter.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the ability to accommodate requests for date changes. Most camp and clinic weeks book out early.
Cancellation + Refunds
Up to 21 days before start of session: Full refund.
20 days to 14 days before session start: $50 Cancellation fee
13 days to 7 days before session start: $100 Cancellation fee
Less than 7 days before session start: NO refund
