How To Register
To register, click the Register For Program button along the right. Create an account, and then purchase the appropriate ‘package’ for the session of your choice.
After the payment has been made on Clubworks for your desired Learn-to-Row Session, please proceed to the Rowing Canada website (using the link below) to register there. This is a mandatory requirement for insurance reasons. Create a new Rowing Canada profile and join the 2020 Adult Learn to Row program. If you have previously participated in a Rowing Program access your existing Rowing Canada profile.

Adult Spring Indoor Session – Cancelled
If you want to get a head start on the Spring Learn to Row sessions while improving your fitness, this is the session for you. Over the 6 sessions you will learn and build your rowing skills indoors using our rowing machines (ergs). At the end of these Indoor Rowing sessions, we invite you to take one of our Learn-to-Row sessions to give rowing a try out on the river.
Objective: Introduction to the rowing stroke, erg/tank/general fitness, teach the basics of Rowing.
Participants: Maximum 10 participants, as this is strictly indoors.

Adult Spring/Summer Outdoor Session
Each LTR session is 6 classes, and has classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the exception of our June Daytime session. Your first two classes are indoors, learning basic technique using our erg machines and the indoor tank. Then you will be on the water and in boats of 4 or 8. While on the water, your coach will be in the boat with you providing guidance and feedback on your progress. Graduates of the LTR outdoor program are encouraged to join the Club in the Recreational Program, where the fun and learning continues.
Objective: Introduction to the rowing stroke, learning the basics of good erg technique, tank, boat handling , rowing stroke, balance and general fitness

FAQ
Cancellation
If you cancel from the session the following fees will be applied:
- More than 2 weeks before start, a Cancellation Fee of $60 will apply.
- Less than 2 weeks before start, a Cancellation Fee of $100 will apply.
- There will be no refunds after the start of the session.
Session Cancellation
All sessions are subject to sufficient registration. A full refund will be provided in the event of a cancellation.
Reschedule
If you need to reschedule your session, the following fees will be applied:
- More than 2 weeks before start, No Charge.
- Less than 2 weeks before start, a Move Fee of $50 will apply if no one
is on the wait list to replace you.
Missed Classes
In the event that you are unable to attend a class, we regret that a makeup class or refund will not be offered.
Wait List
In the event that the session you have selected is full, you can placed on a wait list for that session by emailing learntorow@donrowingclub.com. Individuals on the wait list will only be notified is space becomes available in the session.
Weather Conditions
We normally row rain or shine, however, safety is always the first consideration. If we are unable to row outdoors due to the weather, don’t worry, we will move indoors and practice in the tank. It’s important to dress appropriately for the weather, including rain gear when required.
